I’ve had a fascination with jewelry since I was a young boy. I vividly remember going into my Aunt and Uncle’s antique store and spending my time at the jewelry counter. I received my first piece, a gold signet ring with my initial “S” etched into the face, when I was 5 and proudly wore it to church each Sunday.
After spending over a decade as an entrepreneur in Sussex County and building other businesses around the country, I felt called to pursue the family jewelry business. My Aunt, Shirley O’Neal, graciously took me under her wing to teach me the trade. I couldn’t ask for a better or more generous role model in this industry. In addition to her real world experience, I am in the process of my formal education through the Gemological Institute of America.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working under leaders and visionaries that put excellence, integrity, and caring about people at the forefront of what they do. This has shaped how I view business and I believe it’s a perfect fit for a jewelry company.
